"EPOCH" creators and designers, it's a great opportunity for showcasing
what they do in SL. They create something for the event, put their
unique point of views into items, and collaborate with other designers to
inspire each other. Also EPOCH will be a perfect chance for shoppers
and art fans to check talented designers and their latest works all at once.

On the 26th February, very first EPOCH event called "EPOCH-Legend"
will be open. We've got more than 50 shops, 3 themes and 4 venues
to present you the best 2 weeks fair full of fun.

We have 3 themes; "Art of Escher", "Beast" and "Clowning", and exhibit
each one in the themed venue on different sims. Hop from one to another!

Creators Cafe
Creators Cafe is built for designers, creators and bloggers or anyone to
communicate each other. Also it's a place linking up all the venues.
This cafe has not only portals, but there are a theatre, DJ booth
and all the installation for coming up events. Even we have changing rooms
for you to unpack boxes you've got from other venues.

To communicate with other cretors,
or for a hang out place to catch up with other bloggers,
or simply spend some time in this cozy place,
please have fun in this Creators Cafe.

"EPOCH" は、クリエイターやデザイナーにとっては、SLでの活動を表現できる
良い機会になります。作品を作り、独自の視点を盛り込み、
他のデザイナーとのコラボレーションを通じて交流ができます。

才能あるクリエイターと彼らの新作を一度に全部チェックできる
絶好の機会となるでしょう。

２月26日（SL時間）、これが最初となる EPOCH イベント
"EPOCH-Legend” がオープンします。
50以上の参加ショップと、３つのテーマ、４つの会場が
皆さんに楽しみいっぱいの２週間を提供します。

Thanks to your cooperation, the ART theme has been subdivide into "Escher" by popular vote.
Now we've got 3 themes for this event...

To feature all the participants and 3 themes equally, we'll have 20 or fewer designers in each of 3 themed venues. Your choice will be accepted on a first-come-first served basis. If your "1st preference" were full, we would put you into your 2nd preference.

If you chose "challenge me!" on the web form, or if you didn't send your favorite theme to us by the deadline, we would pick one theme for you.

During the EPOCH-Legend event, we'll have some special entertainments and mini events. You are free to participate or not, as you like. More details about special entertainments and mini events will be informed later.

---------- [[ Items you can sell in this event ]] ----------
After your theme was decided (and accepted), you can start creating items for sale. Here are fixed rules about your goodies.

I ) Your items have to match with your chosen theme.
II) They must be new releases, which have never be sold before.
III) You cannot sell those items for EPOCH-Legend in any other places, even after this event was closed. However, you are free to sell variations (re-colored/re-shaped ones) of the same products.

****Each store can use 6 prims****

Your store can use 6 prims in total, and it's up to you how to use those 6 prims.
e.g. #1) You can place 5 one-prim vendors and 1 one-prim poster/demo-provider at the same time.
e.g. #2) You can place 3 two-prim vendors for selling a jacket, a coat and a pair of shoes.
e.g. #3) You can place 1 six-prim vendors.

If you need more prims to sell variety of skins, make-ups or whatever, please contact organizers.
****For reducing lag, we don't allow you to use scripted vendors.****

On the theme-choice web form, as you can see, there are another blanks for asking your store information. This information will be put on our web shopping guide which feature all the items for this event and provide your store's general info.

With this off-world shopping guide, people can see every items for this event at once. They can see which store is in which venue, which one will be their "must have" items without visiting, or even in laggy grid situation. Also it's good for us designers to let them know where they can find more of our goodies at.

So please fill those blanks on the web form too and give us your store information.


After you finish the web form, please send an image of your store (inside/outside look of store, store logo, or whatever).
This "Store Information PIC" will be shown like this (　http://p.tl/XyFA　) and be linked with your item's profile.

The picture size must be ****W400 x H275 pixel, 72dpi****.
You can make it with a trimmed snapshot, or ads you have created for other items in store, or your store logo or trademarks.  Please send it to : uriaheulenberg[at]yahoo.com (off-world) or in-world Uriah Eulenberg.

【制作・販売できる物品についてのルール】
テーマが決定致しましたら、EPOCH-Legend に出品される
アイテム制作に取りかかって頂けます。
但し、幾つかルールがございますのでご注意ください。

I）出品されるアイテムは、決定したテーマに沿って製作してください。
II）過去に販売していない、新作でなくてはいけません。
III）出品された同一の商品を、イベント終了後に販売することは出来ません。
  　但し、カラーバリエーションや形を変更して販売することは可能です。

【ベンダー及び、使用できるプリム数について】
・1店舗：6プリム

各店６プリムまで使用でき、この６プリムを自由に使用して頂けます。
 例１）１プリムのベンダーを５つと、１プリムのデモ配布（販売）用ベンダー兼ポスター。
 例２）２プリムのベンダーを３つ、ジャケット、コート、靴などの３点を販売する。
 例３）６プリムのベンダーを１つ。

※多数のスキンやメイクを同時製作したり、６プリム以上必要になる場合は、

Hello and thank you very much for joining group! We are thrilled at
your participation.

If your store name was not in this list, if you cannot see your
participant-friend's name in this group, please let us know.

The event will be held in Feb 2012 and here are our 3 themes to go.
We are expecting you to have unique viewpoints. How to sublimate the
theme into creation is totally up to you. I'm just giving some
examples in ( ).

- Clowning
 (e.g. play the fool, clowning around, funny performances, being a clown… )

- Beast
 (e.g. beauty & THE, "Hank", Animal, Beasties, someone who has very good skills…)

- Art
This one may be too abstract to reflect in your creation. 
Thus we are going to have a sub-theme under "Art", and take a vote on which one is the most popular. The sub-theme list and a web form is here :

イベントは2012年２月に開催を予定しており、テーマを以下の３つに決定しました。

実際の製作にあたって、このテーマは抽象的すぎると思われるかもしれません。

EPOCH-Legend Organizers

EPOCH

Event "epoch" has presented an overview of the.
This is a "Second Life" is the event.
For information not yet finalized, it must not suburbs.
It's an "invited only" event. All participants must be invited by

EPOCH organizers, and we are inviting the most talented creators and
artists around the grid. 

We'll give you 3 different themes, ask you to choose one from them.
What you have to do is : Create something unique along the theme, and
sell them at one of the event venues.
3 different themed venues will be built by few builders who are also
invited. We'll also have special entertainments in each of venues as
well.

The EPOCH event will be held for about 2 weeks, and there will be Pre

Opening Event, Public Open, Special Entertainments, and Closing Party. 

At Pre Opening Event, bloggers, flickrist/flickristas will be our
guests. We'll have some souvenirs and a press kit for them. After the
premiere, all 3 of venues will be opened to public as a limited-time
shopping spot.
Special Entertainments will be held for attracting more people. We are
hoping many people to come and experience EPOCH, not only for shopping
but also having good times in our venues. 

And then on the final day, we have Closing Party. It's going to be a
public event but we'll implement a dress code : wear something from
EPOCH. Something they bought, or something they've got from one of
special entertainments.
